2. Booking and Payments

To book a tour package, you must complete the booking form on our website or provide the necessary information through other agreed-upon channels. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A deposit may be required at the time of booking, with the full balance due by a specified date before departure. We accept various payment methods, which will be communicated during the booking process. Failure to pay the full balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking without a refund of any deposit paid. 3. Cancellations and Refunds

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover potential cancellation fees. No refunds will be given for unused services, early departures, or no-shows.

4. Changes and Amendments by You

If you wish to make changes to your confirmed booking, such as date changes or name corrections, you must inform us in writing as soon as possible. While we will do our best to accommodate your requests, changes are subject to availability, the policies of our suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels), and may incur an administration fee from RootIndians, plus any charges imposed by suppliers. Major changes might be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and a new booking, subject to the relevant cancellation charges.

5. Changes and Cancellations by RootIndians

While we strive to operate all tours as advertised, RootIndians reserves the right to make changes to or cancel any tour package due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political instability, strikes, technical issues, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer alternative arrangements of a comparable standard or a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled services. We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by you, such as international flights or visa fees, due to changes or cancellations made by us.

6. Travel Documents and Health Requirements

You are solely responsible for obtaining and possessing all necessary travel documents, including valid passports, visas, health certificates, and any other permits required for your chosen destination(s). You must ensure that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned return date. RootIndians will provide general advice regarding visa requirements, but it is your responsibility to verify the specific entry requirements for all countries on your itinerary and to obtain them in time. We are not liable for any refusal of entry, delays, or costs incurred due to incorrect, invalid, or missing documentation. You are also responsible for checking and complying with any health requirements, vaccinations, or medical precautions for your travel.

7. Travel Insurance

We highly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Travel insurance should cover, but not be limited to, trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, baggage loss, and personal liability. RootIndians does not provide travel insurance, and it is your sole responsibility to obtain adequate coverage for your trip.

8. Liability and Disclaimers

RootIndians acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other service providers. We endeavor to ensure that all arrangements are made with reputable suppliers. However, we shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, or by unforeseen events such as natural disasters, accidents, or government actions. Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Force Majeure

RootIndians shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay arises from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, government restrictions, or failures of public utilities. In such events, we will notify you and work to provide suitable alternatives or refunds as per the circumstances, but our liability will be limited as stated in Section 8.
