Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Ayodhya Airport, you will be warmly received and
transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. Once refreshed,
begin your exploration with a visit to Kanak Bhawan, a divine temple
gifted to Sita by Queen Kaikeyi, followed by a walking tour through the historical lanes. Next, visit Shri Hanuman Garhi Mandir, one of the
most iconic temples of Ayodhya, believed to be the guardian of the city.
Continue your pilgrimage with a darshan at Shree Ram Janmabhoomi
Mandir, the sacred birthplace of Lord Rama, and explore the Dashrath
Mahal, a palace associated with King Dashrath. As the day winds down,
take a peaceful stroll by the Saryu River Ghats, where you can absorb
the spiritual ambiance of this holy town before returning to your hotel
for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Ayodhya and begin a
scenic drive to Prayagraj, which takes approximately three hours. Upon
arrival, head directly to the Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the invisible Saraswati rivers. Here, you may
take a holy dip or enjoy a peaceful boat ride. Continue your local
sightseeing with a visit to the Shri Bade Hanuman Ji Mandir, famous for
its reclining idol of Lord Hanuman. After seeking blessings, begin your
journey towards Varanasi, the city of light and devotion. Upon arrival,
check in to your hotel and relax for the evening.
Begin your day with an early morning visit to the Kaal Bhairav Temple,
dedicated to the fierce guardian form of Lord Shiva. Continue to the Mritunjay Mahadev Temple, known for its healing powers, and then
visit the ancient Bindu Madhav Temple situated near the ghats. In the
evening, head to Assi Ghat/Namo Ghat for a serene boat ride, offering
views of the ghats and temples at sunset. As night approaches, witness
the soul-stirring Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, where the
riverfront comes alive with light, chants, and spiritual energy. Conclude
your day with a shopping spree at the vibrant Godowlia local market,
known for Banarasi silk and traditional crafts.
On this day, you may choose to begin early with a holy dip in the Ganga
for purification and blessings. Afterwards, visit the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and a major spiritual
center for Hindus. Continue to the Annapurna Devi Temple, dedicated
to the goddess of food, and Vishalakshi Devi Temple, a significant
Shakti Peeth. After a fulfilling breakfast, spend your evening visiting
important temples such as Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, the
Kushmanda Devi Temple (located near Durgakund), and the Tulsi
Manas Mandir, known for its spiritual serenity and connection to the
Ramcharitmanas. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.
On your final day, start early with a visit to the Varahi Devi Temple,
which opens only from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. This rare and powerful
temple is dedicated to the goddess Varahi, a form of Shakti. After your
visit, return to your hotel, complete the check-out formalities, and
proceed for your departure to Varanasi Airport or Railway Station,
carrying with you the blessings and spiritual experiences of this divine
journey.
